Established in December 1992, the Development Center for Finance is a joint undertaking between the FINEX Research & Development Foundation, Inc. and the University of the Philippines Virata School of Business.

Among its key goals are:

1. The promotion and enhancement of the financial markets of the Philippines;
2. The development of financial management expertise; and
3. The professional development in the field of financial management
