On July 24 and 25, 2017, the Development Center for Finance successfully conducted its Strategic Implementation and Bank Operations Management training for Land Bank of the Philippines at the Cesar E.A. Virata School of Business, UP Diliman, Quezon City.

Topics discussed include:

• BCG Growth-Share Matrix
• Strategy Implementation
• Balanced Scorecard
• Leadership Potential Theory
• 7 S Model
• Conflict Concepts and Resolution
• Change Management

Cases and class activities were also done to facilitate better understanding of the topics.

Resource speakers were Prof. Benjamin C. Sandoval and Prof. Mark Alejo S. Bernal. Mr. Sandoval is a professor at the Virata School of Business for 21 years, specializing on Strategic Management, as seen in his engagements with over 80 companies. Prof. Bernal is a CEO of many businesses. He is best known as the brand manager of Red Horse Beer for San Miguel Beer. Mr. Bernal also teaches marketing strategy at the UP Virata School of Business.
